Exploring Encaustic: Mixed Media on Wood Panel

In this fun class you will learn the basics of hot plate safety, studio set up, laying down and fusing wax layers with a heat gun. We will explore using mixed media techniques with your encaustic paintings using transfers, Pan Pastels, oil sticks, and other embellishments.

All supplies are included and there is ample time for creative exploration.

Where: Leir House Penticton, 220 Manor Park Avenue, Penticton - downstairs art room
When: Saturday, May 23rd 11am to 3:30pm
Cost: $84 (includes all supplies, equipment rental + GST)
